About this project
Jumbo Stud Ltd were asked to build this massive high bay partition wall to divide the warehouse into two separate units.
We provided an F120 Jumbo Stud system to achieve a 120 minutes fire rated Jumbo Stud Partition wall.
- Due to the size of the wall and warehouse, the metal frame SFS system was calculated to withhold a 0,4kN wind pressure.
- The jumbo stud walls were designed to provide 210mm deflection head movements due to the height of the partition.
- We used approximately 3,200 Fermacell boards for this wall.
- The project was completed successfully during the provided timescale by the client.
