About this project

Our client, Dawes Farm required us to build and install jumbo stud F60, 60 min fire rated partition wall.

Work involved with over 80lm of the internal high bay partitions up to 9m high And over 160lm of the external walls rising from 5m high up to 9m high.

Internal walls were built with standard detail together with movement control joint every 10lm sideways to allow the partitions to work vertically and horizontally.

We used 150mm deep tracks for enough space for movements. For additional strength and security on internal partitions we used 18mm Fermacell board up to 2.4m high all around instead of 12.5mm board.
Walls were skimmed ready for decoration.

External walls were, from the outside, were boarded with Fermacell H2O powerpanel boards for wheater resistance. Additionally we fixed Tyvek membranę to the outer line of external walls all around.

On the inside of the external walls we used 18mm Fermacell board full height all around. Walls were skimmed ready for decoration form inside.

We finished project in 5 weeks up to customer satisfaction.

Due to our quality of workmanship and build time our client asked for additional pricing for further works by the end of the year.
